A Few Healthy Habits For a Well-Run Home

  1. At times we all, like Mickey Mouse, wish that our homes magically would just clean themselves.
  2. Now, I am not going to tell you that there’s a magical pill that can be taken to clean your home…because there isn’t.
  3. ( … sorry)
  4. BUT… here there are good habits to take up that’ll can make home maintenance almost automatic:
  5. For example: 
  6. Make your bed when you get out of it in the morning.
  7. When you get ready to go to work, or out for the day, put away your makeup, your hairdryer, hang the towels, hang up any clothing you decided not to wear.
  8. When preparing a snack, put away all traces of the ingredients and preparation BEFORE eating the snack.
  9. When cooking dinner, clean as you go. And as part of having dinner, rinse all dishes and load the dishwasher before relaxing for the evening. You’ll be glad you did in the morning!
  10. Teach your children that playing with Lego’s or puzzles includes having to put things away when they are done playing.
